Clear vision starts with a look at your eye health – not just a new prescription.
Comprehensive Eye Exams
An eye exam at Advanced EyeCare Solutions combines a detailed review of your eye and health history with vision testing, advanced imaging and ocular health exam. Getting an eye exam regularly helps us track changes over time, diagnose ocular disease early, and keep your prescription and visual comfort up to date.
Advanced Retinal Imaging
We use Optomap ultra‑widefield retinal imaging to capture a highly detailed view of the back of your eye in a fast, comfortable, and non‑invasive scan. Optomap shows more of the retina at once, helping us spot early signs of problems such as retinal tears, diabetic eye disease, and macular changes. We also utilize Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to aid in diagnosing and monitoring conditions that affect the optic nerve, macula, and retina.
What to Expect During Your Eye Exam
Step 1: Health & Vision History
We start by reviewing your medical and vision history, current glasses or contact lens prescription, and any concerns you’re having with your eyes or vision.
Step 2: Vision Testing & Refraction
Next, we measure how clearly you see at different distances and use refraction to determine your most accurate prescription.
Step 3: Ocular Health Assessment
We check your eye pressure and perform a thorough ocular health assessment to diagnose any conditions that are or could affect your vision or health.
Step 4: Results & Next Steps
Your optometrist reviews your results, answers any questions, and recommends next steps such as updating your prescription or follow up care.
